There are many trails around Silver Creek. Our
favorite is the Silver Creek Summit Trail. This trail begins past
Silver Creek Plunge about 10 miles. The trail rises to Silver Creek
Lookout and is a little more challenge than the local dirt roads. It
is made for 4 wheelers. This area is accessible only in the
non-snowy season.
Hot Springs (snowmobile only
during winter months)
Check out the
various web sites for hot springs review. Some are cleaner than
others this includes the commercial sites.
Molly's
Tubs -
sit on the banks of the South Fork of
the Salmon River about 25 miles east of Cascade Idaho. There are
several old bathtubs with rubber hoses plugged into the
rocks so you can fill a tub with extremely hot water. Use
one of the buckets laying around to dip from the
extremely cold river water to get just the right
temperature. During winter they are accessible from a
snowmobile trail which follows Forest Service Road 474.

Warren Wagon Road, McCall
Idaho - is located about 7 miles down Warren Wagon Road off of Hwy
55 1 mile north of downtown McCall. In the winter the road dead ends
with the snowmobile parking area on the right. The trail is a fairly
straight run past a small picturesque lake. About 20 miles north on
the trail Burgdorf

the main trail for some good soaking.
Cascade Idaho - West Mountain Trails - Miles of
snowmobiles trails on the west side of Cascade Lake. Snow usually
falls here first.
Idaho City - Take Hwy 21 from Boise to the old mining town
of Idaho City. Go through Idaho City about 1 mile to the first dirt
road on the right which is Granite Creek. Take this road about 1
mile and cross the creek. Look for a large open area on the right
about 500 feet up the road from here. There will be a bridge with a
closed gate across it. Walk across the bridge into an open field. At
the other end of the filed which is about 1/4 mile you will find a
large hill which is great for sledding. Best time to go is on a
weekday as the folks from Boise as well as the locals know of this
place.
McCall Idaho,
